Making a DIFFERENCE

A nice little story that has always inspired me.
“One stormy night, on the banks of the sea shore. The waves were wild, and the night was dark and gloomy. The sea was violent. The waves raised high and came crashing to the shore. The violent night came to an end. It was early dawn and a new morning. The whole shore looked like a bed of starfish, millions were washed to the shore because of the violent storm last night.
At the far end of the shore stood a man in white. He was the Father in the church close to the shore. He appeared to be very busy picking things from the shore. He was busier than any other fisherman on the shore that morning. Few of the fishermen looked and walked away. Then one fisherman decided to go upto the Father and ask him what he was doing. As he approached him, he could see that the Father was picking the starfish and thrown them back to the sea. Puzzled the fisherman asked, “Father, may I ask, what are u trying to do? ”. The Father was still busy, even without looking at who was speaking to him, he said, “I’m picking this starfish and throwing it into the water”. Then the fisherman looked around and said with a slight smile, “I know that Father, but, there are like millions of them on the entire shore. You can’t save all of them. It wouldn’t make much difference.” Then the Father replied saying, “I know my child, I might not be able to make a difference at all. But I know that I can make a difference to this little starfish.” He picked another starfish and threw it into the sea.
This story has always made me think of my actions. If I can do something that would make a difference to even one person then I better do it. I might not be able to change the whole world but I strongly believe that when each of us do our little bit, we can change the whole world.
So I live on this hope, that someday each of will start doing our little bit to MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Auto Drivers in Bangalore
Know what?... i don think there is even a single person who rides in bangalore traffic and who would disagree with me on the fact about the pathetic riding skills of the auto drivers in bangalore.....
"yeh auto drivers to yeh samaj the hain ki road to unka baap ka mal hai, jaise chao waise gadi chalo......"
it just gets on my nerves every time i travel in my two wheeler in the bangalore traffic. apart from the worst riding skills tat these auto drivers posses, they also have the nerve to create an issue out of nothing, always ready to start up a big comossion.
because of the greater majority of such horrid auto drivers, the minority few good auto drivers also end up being branded bad...
it's such a pity tat this happens every day of r small life.
And i still continue to live in hope.... hopin things change for good
LIFE'S FUNNY
Every incident has some significance some time later in our lives.
Who could guess tat some day u would meet the most interesting person in your life, and that person was right there all the while, just that we get too busy with our lives, we don't quite see the nice things we have with us. We get caught up in our hectic lives, loose contact and the presnt gift of friendship just seams to fade off. I guess thats wat happens.
But the funnier incidents are when, there would have been instances where you'd feel like running far far away from the most embarasing situations of your life and all u want to do then is just burry ur face. But as the time goes by, when you look back at that particular incident, you'd realise something good did indeed come out of it.
I've personlly realised that every bad incident in my life has brought something good. And that later events following a bad event have proved to be a blessing. So i guess its better to say that " things happen for a reason, and all things happen for good"
I'm just trying to be very optimistic in my life. There is hope wen we are optimistic.
HOPE-The essence of Life

Every one needs Hope. It is the essence of life. It so is. When theres Hope, there begins a new lease of life. How else can people cope up with the preasures of daily lives??.. Imagine a life without HOPE??... U'd get used to havn the monotonous lives, and worse, when u don't hav hope, u would want to work that extra bit to make the existing monotonous lives a lil more interestn..
All said and done, at the end of a horrible day, each of us secretly wish/ HOPE the events following later would be better. I guess by havn HOPE we unconsciously build up sufficient strength to come out of every difficulty posed in front of us. My personal advice to every 1 riding on the low tide is never ever loose hope, the time u loose hope, tats wen u stop learning to live. Never loose hope, HOPE to find a better person, a better life, a better begining and to HOPE for the best.
Some1 aptly said - "Be prepared for the worst, BUT HOPE FOR THE BEST".
